This: new EP by the German synth pop band Reichsfeind

Here comes a new EP by the rising German synth pop band Reichsfeind taken from their recent successful 3rd album “Darken” which brought them resonant feedback both from the dark wave scene but also from the techno pop clubbers.

The techno-ish “This” and the soulful noir pop “Darken” are quite complementary songs, nicely representing Reichsfeind’s versatile sonic identity merging modern electronics, driving rhythms, dark moody atmosphere, charismatic meaningful vocals, rolling bass lines and addictive melodic sounds.

Each song is here remixed in an exclusive version by mastermind Timo Revna himself while “This” also received the remix treatment by VDOC who added another emotional dimension to the song through additional female vocals, while “Darken” was modified into a spectral atmospheric version by Amistia.

This is future pop at best recommended to fans of Covenant, Faderhead, X-Marks The Pedwalk, VNV Nation, De/Vision, Mesh, Icon Of Coil etc.
